Balbala, Djibouti (Nov. 19, 2006) - Lt. _cmd_r. Wendy Halsey from Honolulu, Hawaii, plays in a soccer game at the Djibouti Boy_qt_s Orphanage in Djibouti City, Djibouti. Halsey_qt_s friends and family collected more than 300 soccer balls from churches, schools and organizations throughout the United States for donation to schools and orphanages in the Horn of Africa. Halsey has played soccer since she was six years old and wanted to make sure children in the Horn of Africa had the equipment to play. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a unit of United States Central Command. The organization conducts operations and training to assist partner nations to combat terrorism in order to establish a secure environment and enable regional stability.
